In ceramics there are many similarities between the anatomy of a vessel and the human body; pots have necks, shoulders, bellies and feet. This analogy allows a vessel to express body language and emotions. My hand built sculptures evoke the sentiment of physical interaction through a retrospective exploration. By referencing and abstracting my own experiences I've created a body of work that starts a conversation with the viewer about the significance of deeply personal moments without a word being said.
